Clinical scope of practice and hardware parameters
We perform four core categories of medical aesthetics with verified parameters. Every quote depends strictly on treatment zone, peel depth, laser pass count, and active serum formulations.
| Service Category | Clinical Equipment & Materials | Duration | Price Band (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Facial Extractions & Cleanses | Ultrasonic scrubber, sterile 30G lancet, HydraFacial MD, lymphatic drainage | 30–80 min | $169 – $300 |
| Medical Chemical Peels | PCA Skin (Jessner/TCA), Glo Skin Beauty (glycolic, lactic, salicylic) | 45–60 min | $90 – $325 |
| Laser Procedures (Face & Neck) | Aerolase Neo 1064nm, Sciton BBL Hero, Halo hybrid fractional, Sciton Moxi 1927nm | 45–80 min | $385 – $1,880 |
| Corrective Skin Programs | Custom cyclical 30-day regimens, 830nm/633nm LED, active barrier serums | Monthly | $75 – $325 / mo |
Our prices are never pulled out of the air. Your quote depends on anatomical zone (face only, face and neck, décolleté, or back); chemical peel depth (superficial enzyme, medium TCA, or multi-layer Jessner); laser pass count and fluence settings; and single-session vs multi-treatment corrective series.
All reusable stainless steel extraction instruments, comdone extractors, and scalpel handles undergo ultrasonic enzymatic pre-wash, followed by steam autoclave sterilization in chemical indicator pouches. Single-use items—including No. 10R dermaplane scalpels and 30-gauge lancets—are opened in front of the client and discarded immediately into regulated sharps containers.
Clinical philosophies and non-negotiable boundaries
We believe healthy skin is achieved through cellular physiology, not aggressive over-treatment.
Most aesthetic spas make 40% of their revenue pushing expensive 6-step private-label cosmetic creams. We do not operate that way. If your current gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen have functional ingredients that protect your skin barrier, we tell you to keep using them.
If your stratum corneum is stripped from aggressive home acids or retinoid misuse, we will not perform a medium-depth chemical peel or high-fluence laser resurfacing. We repair your lipid barrier first using bio-cellular lipids and LED phototherapy.
Stubborn hyperpigmentation, dermal melasma, and moderate acne scarring require months of disciplined cellular turnover. We never promise "glass skin in one hour" because real collagen remodeling requires weeks of biological repair.
"I started SkinLuxes in 2019 to give Charlotte clients an honest medical aesthetic sanctuary. When you sit in my suite at 130 North Tryon Street, you get clinical explanations, documented energy parameters, and honest answers on what a procedure can and cannot do."Casey Finch, LE/LI • Founder & Operator
